Football For Cancer began their fundraising journey in 2008. Utilising the collective power of sport, they run a number of events throughout the year which help raise crucial funds for those affected by Cancer.
Now over 10 years old the organisation has evolved into a full-blown charity. Through a series of events and their shop in Cosham, they have managed to raise over £1 Million pounds during these last 10 years, the charity has gone from strength to strength.
Who They Help & the Challenges Faced
Like many charities, Football for Cancer is always working to a strict budget to deliver the events they offer. Focusing their efforts within a relatively close geographic boundary of the South of England means they can target those closest to them.
Bringing together all the individuals who have supported the charity is hugely important for them, and through online fundraising, they are able to broaden this appeal to a nationwide audience. This is where the Shirt Framing Service stepped in to help.
What Football For Cancer Said?
‘Whilst doing some fundraising with Football for Cancer, I needed to get a Mo Salah shirt framed for auction and also had one from my personal collection that I wanted doing. What The SFS Did?
The Shirt Framing Service was approached to help them offer a cost-effective Shirt Framing Solution. Over the past year of working alongside one another, we have been able to offer the charity a 30% saving on average.
Furthermore, due to this collaborative approach, we have been able to increase footfall to their shop in Cosham. Sharing customers along the way not only ensures we can increase awareness regarding the charities efforts but also help give back to them in the way of charitable donations.
